Blaine and Hall Roads Water Supply Mains

CHS provided pre-design analysis, extensive permitting, design, plans and specifications for the installation of approximately 3,000 feet of 18-inch ductile iron water main along Blaine Road (SR 548) and 3,200 feet of 18-inch ductile iron water main along Hall Road to provide additional supply to the District from the City of Blaine. The project included a meter station and three bored and jacked crossings across SR 548 and BNSF Railway. Permits included Whatcom County Zoning Conditional Use and Revocable Encroachment Permits, Washington State Department of Ecology Stormwater General Permit, Department of Fish and Wildlife Hydraulic Project Approval, Department of Transportation Utility Franchise and a BNSF Pipeline License.
